Stanbic IBTC Bank Improves Customer Experience Of Its USSD Platform

To improve client experience, Stanbic IBTC Bank has upgraded its USSD platform with new features and capabilities.

Customers will be able to make continuous frictionless transactions thanks to the updated USSD banking platform, dubbed “bigger and better.” The bill payment gateway for billers such as DISCO companies, which will allow customers to pay their electricity bills without stress; auto-airtime top-up, which allows customers to set up a mandate for airtime top-up whenever their balance falls below a set benchmark; and direct data top-up are just a few of the new features on the upgraded platform.

Remy Osuagwu, executive director, Personal and Business Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank, explained why the USSD platform was upgraded: “We are dedicated to meeting the banking needs of our customers.” It’s vital to improve customers’ experiences at every point of contact with the business.

“The Stanbic IBTC USSD platform works on any mobile phone, offering customers easy, fast, and secure financial transactions,” Osuagwu added. Purchase airtime, transfer funds, check account balances, obtain account statements, pay bills, view transaction history, and link a debit card may all be done with it.
